About Us
On October 5, 2023, Kibbutz Erez, with 74 years of history, was celebrating its Beer Festival, a peak of its cultural and community development.
On October 7th, Just two days later, horror struck. They aimed to invade our homes and hearts, and women played a crucial role in their defense. Through mother’s intuition, patience, courage, and leveraging partners and fighters, they successfully prevented the terrorists from entering the kibbutz.
Today, those and many other women from the kibbutz and all over Israel need our support to keep terrorism out of their hearts.

Atufot
These days in Erez, at the very site of the attack, a holistic center for women is being established. This is Atufot. A sanctuary where women from every sector, religion, nationality, and race can heal.
It’s a warm place where they can heal their bodies and souls and grow from their pain. Atufot is a center where more leaders will emerge, leading to gender-sensitive health and a healthier society overall.
IN HEBREW, IT MEANS THE FEELING OF BEING WRAPPED IN A WARM BLANKET IN A SAFE HOUSE, ALLOWING YOU TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Get Involved
The present and future of Atufot, and the women it gathers and cares for, depend on everyone’s collaboration. From those who generously donate their time to those who support us financially, every contribution is valuable. There are many ways to get involved.

Join Our Mentoring Circles and Help Women Return to Work
Many women who were evicted from their homes also lost their jobs. Those interested in returning to the workforce will benefit from consulting with those who understand their interests. Help more women gain access to appropriate roles by joining the center’s circle of volunteer mentors.
Getting the women treated
The goal of the center is to provide treatments at a symbolic cost to women returning to the settlements. This ensures that every woman can receive the care she needs to support herself and her family in the best possible way.
For this purpose, we established a dedicated non-profit organization that receives donations and ensures each contribution reaches its intended destination.
